About UKG

How does the integration work?
- There are 2 methods for inviting - Inline (after application) and Recruiter Initiated (on disposition). All integrations will support Inline; Recruiter Initiated may be configured if that is how you'd like to trigger Criteria testing.
- Inline method
- You will associate the UKG Opportunity with a Criteria Package (which is a Job from Criteria)
- candidates will click the link to start testing once they apply. UKG will notify Criteria to invite the candidate to the Package chosen on the Opportunity.
- Recruiter Initiated method
- When you create a new UKG Opportunity you will update the Custom Integration Package in Criteria to specify which Criteria Job the candidates from that Opportunity should complete
- Then, it's a matter of dispositioning the candidate into the Step associated with Criteria testing, Criteria will identify them and invite them for testing.
- For packages just containing Assessments, the Talent Signal, Met All Score Ranges, report link and individual assessment scores will be available once the candidate has completed all the testing.
- For packages containing an Interview, a status message will be shown in UKG to keep you updated on the progress through the evaluation process. If the package also contained assessments, those results will be available in UKG as soon as the candidate completes. Once the minimum number of evaluations have been submitted the interview score and evaluator recommendations will be available in UKG, along with the Criteria report.
- If you wish, the integration may automatically disposition candidates in UKG as they progress through invited, then evaluating then completed status.
- UKG only supports inviting each candidate to 1 package per Opportunity.
What can the integration do?
How much does it cost to set up an integration with UKG Pro? Are there any ongoing costs with the integration? | There may be costs associated with setting up and maintaining an integration with UKG Pro Recruiting. Please reach out to your Criteria account manager for further information. |
Time to integrate | 1-2 weeks to receive UKG integration credentials from UKG Support. Criteria require two business days from receipt of UKG credentials to create the integration with your UKG Pro Recruiting account. |
Can I trial the integration before I purchase? | Criteria customers must have a paid subscription before an integration can be created. |
How do Criteria Packages appear in the ATS? | You will need to maintain the Criteria Packages manually in UKG Pro Recruiting. If you are using the Inline method, the packages will need to mimic the Active Jobs list in your Criteria account. When changes are made in Criteria, you will need to apply the same changes in UKG. If you are using the Recruiter Initiated method, you will just need to add your Custom Integration Package into UKG and likely will not need to make any future package changes in UKG. Ongoing, the configuration of the Criteria Job per UKG Opportunity will be performed in the Criteria platform. |
Does the integration support assessment and video interviews? | Yes, the integration supports Assessments, Video Interview, Assessments and Video Interview in the same Package, and Live Interview. Live Interview is not recommended in the Inline process as there is no activity for the candidate to complete in Criteria. |
Can I send multiple candidates an invitation at the same time? | Yes, when using the Recruiter Initiated method, candidates may be dispositioned in bulk to move them into the Criteria testing status in UKG. This is not applicable to the Inline method as each candidate is invited as they apply and click the link to start testing. |
Can I use multiple rounds of testing in my job? | No. UKG Pro Recruiting only supports 1 Criteria package per candidate per Opportunity. You could include all the assessments and video interview in 1 Criteria package, or you could add the candidate into another Opportunity to complete 1 other package there. |
Can I re-use my candidates' previous results for a new job? | Yes. If you enable Reuse Results in your Criteria account, if a candidate is invited to the same assessment(s) for a different Opportunity the results will be automatically reused into the new candidate entry. |
How are the invitations sent? | If you are using the Inline method, applicants will see a link to start testing as soon as they apply. UKG Pro Recruiting will send an email to the applicant to access the testing link from their UKG Pro account. Once the testing link is clicked, UKG will notify Criteria to invite the applicant. Criteria will send an invitation email to the applicant so they can easily resume their testing within Criteria, this also allows Criteria to schedule the reminder email to be sent, based on the configuration in your Criteria account. Note: disqualified applicants are not invited to complete Criteria testing. If you are using the Recruiter Initiated method, testing will be triggered once you disposition the applicant into the predefined status that is associated with your Criteria integration. Criteria will poll UKG Pro Recruiting for applicants in this status every 15 minutes. When an applicant is identified, Criteria will invite the applicant and send an invitation email and schedule the reminder email to be sent, based on the configuration in your Criteria account. If you have enabled SMS functionality in your Criteria account, when Criteria sends an invitation or reminder email, an SMS will also be sent. This is applicable for both invitation methods. |
Can I send assessments in-line with application? | Yes, testing may be issued after the application form is submitted. Assessments and video interviewing can be sent using this method. |
When can I see my candidates' results? | The scores will appear in your UKG Pro Recruiting account immediately once the applicant has completed all assessments in the package. If the package contained both Assessments and a Video Interview, the Assessment results will be available in UKG once the applicant has completed all components of the package. The results will be updated to include the Video Interview score once it has been evaluated. |
What information will I see for my candidates' results? | For assessments, the following values are provided: Talent Signal, Met All Score Ranges and main overall scores per-test. For video interviews, the following values are provided: overall score and recommendations A link to the score report is included. Dynamic Score Reports are also supported. Please contact your Criteria account manager to learn more. |
Can I invite candidates without sending their personally identifiable information (PII) to Criteria? | No, Criteria requires the applicant's name and email address in order to send them the invitation email. |
