How does the integration work?
- Once the integration has been configured, activated and all relevant permissions actioned, ‘Criteria Packages', made up of Assessments, a Video Interview or a combination of the two, are created in the Criteria platform and added in Workday.
- The integration supports both Inline and Recruiter initiated actions, meaning that candidates can be invited to complete and an Assessment and/or Video Interview after the application process or when a status change is triggered in the job.
- Once a candidate has completed the Criteria assessment(s), their results will immediately appear in Workday.
- The recruiter can view the results/scores/report URL under the Screening > Assessments tab. For candidates who have completed a Video Interview, the Evaluator(s) will be emailed by Criteria to complete their evaluation of the video interview.
- Once the minimum number of evaluators has been reached, the status will be updated to Completed and the recruiter can view the results/scores/report URL under the Screening > Assessments tab.
- When the Results URL is clicked, the Criteria Score Report will be opened in new window.
What can the integration do?
How much does it cost to set up an integration with Workday? Are there any ongoing costs with the integration? | There may be costs associated with setting up and maintaining an integration with your Workday account. Please reach out to your Criteria account manager for further information. Your Workday account must have the Recruitment Module. To learn more about any potential costs relating to Workday, we recommend contacting your account manager at Workday. |

Can I trial the integration before I purchase? | Criteria customers must have a paid subscription before an integration can be created. |
Does the integration support assessment and video interviews? | Yes, you can use Criteria packages with Video Interviewing on its own or Video Interviewing and Assessments together. |
Can I send multiple candidates an invitation at the same time? | Whilst this is to be confirmed, it is expected that you can invite candidates in bulk by moving them all to the requisite status in Workday. |
Can I use multiple rounds of testing in my job? | Yes, you can incorporate multiple rounds of testing into your job in Workday. |
Can I reuse my candidates' previous results for a new job? | Yes, if you have the Reuse Results function enabled in your Criteria account, you can copy your candidates' existing results to new jobs. When this option is set, the system will automatically identify if a match is found between the candidate and any existing results for the same assessments. |
How are the invitations sent? | Candidates may be invited during the application process (Inline), or on status change (Recruiter Initiated). Invitation emails are not sent for the Inline method as they must do the testing immediately. Invitations are sent immediately by Criteria upon the status change |
Can I send assessments in-line with application? | Yes. The candidate will be redirected to complete the testing in Criteria and will be returned to Workday to complete their application. The Candidate will not be visible in Workday until the testing is completed and the application is fully submitted. Workday recommends this method only be used with Criteria packages that can be completed within 30 minutes to avoid the candidate application and testing being lost if their Workday session times out. To allow the candidate to complete the application form on their mobile device, the Criteria packages used with Inline should contain mobile compatible assessments. |
When can I see my candidates' results? | For the Inline process, since the Criteria testing has already been completed when the application is submitted, the Criteria results will be available in Workday as soon as the candidate appears. For the Recruiter Initiated process, the results and report link will appear in Workday when a candidate completes their Assessments |
What information will I see for my candidates' results? | For Assessments, as the candidate status is updated to Completed, the Talent Signal will be shown in the Score field and the Comment field will display the summary of the assessment scores. The Result URL will be a hyperlink to the Criteria Score Report. If configured, the Status will indicate if score ranges were met. For Video Interviews, once the minimum number of evaluators have submitted their evaluation, the scores will then be available in Workday, and the status will be updated to Completed. The Talent Signal or Overall Video Score will be shown in the Score field and the Comment field will display the evaluator recommendations. If the candidate also completed Assessments as part of the same package, those results will also be included.score is not displayed until the evaluator(s) have submitted their evaluations Dynamic Score Reports are also supported. Can I invite candidates without sending their personally identifiable information (PII) to Criteria? | When only using the Inline method, PII maybe turned off as Criteria does not need to send any communications to the candidate. |
