As a manager, Coach Bo offers you invaluable support to conduct effective 1:1 meetings with your team members and improve your management skills.
Ensure that both you and your direct report have completed the EPP assessment, or connected your results, if you took this as part of your application for the role.
Consult Coach Bo regularly by clicking on the icon in the bottom right corner of the Develop app.
Before each 1:1 meeting
- Open Coach Bo from the Manager Guide for the specific direct report.
- Launch one of the existing prompts with Coach Bo, or just directly ask (type in the chat): "How can I best prepare for my 1:1 with [Name] today?"
After each 1:1
Reflect with Coach Bo: "What could I improve for my next 1:1 with [Name]?"
Regularly ask Coach Bo for advice on
- Motivating specific team members
- Giving constructive feedback
- Upskilling your direct reports
- Giving support to direct reports
- Developing your management skills
