Personality Assessment Experience Guide
This guide helps you complete the Personality Assessment (EPP) and turn your personality insights into practical, day-to-day improvements in communication, collaboration, and development.
Taking the Personality Assessment
Accessing the EPP
You can take the EPP, or link your previous results, from your Develop profile. View the step-by-step guide here. Completing the assessment should only take around 10 minutes.
Completion tips
*️⃣ Answer with your typical work behavior in mind, not an “ideal version” of yourself.
*️⃣ Move at a steady pace, don’t overthink individual questions.
*️⃣ If you’re distracted, pause and resume when you can give it full attention (aim for one sitting if possible).
*️⃣ Remember: there’s no right or wrong; the value comes from accuracy and honest self-reflection.
What happens after you complete it
✅ You’ll receive an email with a summary and a link to view your Workplace Insights.
✅ Your Workplace Insights Report becomes available in Develop.
✅ Your results can also power additional tools and reports:
- Workplace Insights
- Collaboration Guides
- Team Personality Report
- Manager Guide (for managers/team leaders)
Understanding Results
Where to find personality insights
Workplace Insights Report: Log into Develop and go to your profile. Click the Workplace Insights tab. You can download a PDF by clicking Download Report.

Collaboration Guide: to assist you with working with a specific colleague, go to their profile and click the Collaboration Guide tab.

Team Personality Report: Open your team's profile and go to the Team Personality tab.

Manager Guide: if you have any direct reports, go to their profile and click the Manager Guide tab.

How to interpret scores (and what they mean)
- Your report highlights workplace-relevant traits and describes strengths, preferences, and potential blind spots. It’s not a “good/bad” grade.
- Your trait visuals compare you to the general population and show where you sit on a scale.
Using Coach Bo for deeper understanding
Coach Bo can help you interpret and apply your EPP insights.
Access Coach Bo by clicking the icon in the bottom-right corner in Develop. Coach Bo chats are confidential.
Note: Weekly Manager Check-ins are different—those are analyzed and summarized for managers/leaders.
Here are some prompts you can use after reading your Workplace Insights:
“What are my key strengths and how can I leverage them in my current role?”
“What’s 1 thing I could try this week based on my personality profile to grow at work?”
“Help me turn one growth area into a small experiment for the next two weeks.”

Applying insights to work (practical uses)
Here are 3 ways you can use your EPP insights:
- Improve communication: Adjust your tone/detail level based on others’ preferences using the Collaboration Guide. Ask Coach Bo to help phrase feedback “in their style”.
- Increase self-awareness and reduce friction: Identify one strength to use more intentionally, and one risk to manage.
- Turn insight into a repeatable habit: Schedule recurring reflection with Coach Bo (weekly/bi-weekly).
What success looks like
Once you have completed or connected your EPP to your Develop profile, can you clearly articulate
- 1–2 key strengths you want to leverage?
- 1 growth area/blind spot you want to improve?
- 1 concrete behavior you’ll try this week?
Use your insights to improve at least one real work interaction. For example: better 1:1 preparation, smoother peer collaboration, more effective feedback, fewer misunderstandings
How to measure progress
✅ Activity metrics: EPP completed or previous results linked.
✅ Behavior change evidence: You can point to 2–3 examples in the last month where you changed your approach based on the report (communication, planning, feedback, conflict approach).
✅ Collaboration outcomes: Fewer recurring friction points with a key colleague after using Collaboration Guide + Bo prompts.
✅ Development habit: At least 2 meaningful Coach Bo reflection sessions per month.
How to build momentum
- Schedule recurring reflection with Coach Bo (weekly or bi-weekly) to keep your self development active.
- Share selectively: use insights as a conversation starter with your manager/mentor.
- Use EPP at key moments, not constantly. For example: before feedback conversations, when starting a new project partnership, during conflict resolution, and when clarifying roles.
When to move to next phase
You will be ready to move to a broader application when:
💡 You’ve run at least one personal experiment for 2–4 weeks and can describe what changed.
💡 You’re ready to apply insights in relationships.
When to adjust course
❌ If the report feels “interesting” but isn’t changing your behavior, try completing a different experiment or develop a new habit.
❌ If you feel overwhelmed by too many insights, narrow to one strength + one growth area to work on.
❌ If you are not confident what to do next, ask Bo to convert insights into a small, specific experiment for you to complete.
Common Challenges
- Can’t find the assessment link or confused about where to start? Log into your Develop account and go to your profile. You can also find some tasks to complete on your Home page.
- Your previous results won’t link? Check the email address that was used for the original invitation or try different email addresses that you may have used. Remember: if you completed the test as part of the application process, it may be registered under your personal email.
- “I don’t agree with my results.” Treat the report as a conversation starter: reflect on specific examples, gather feedback from a trusted peer/manager, and discuss with Coach Bo.
- Concerned about your Privacy? Clicking on the Coach Bo Chats button the bottom right corner is confidential. Talking to Coach Bo in the Weekly Manager Check-ins generates insights that are sent to management.
- Insights don’t translate into action: Ask Bo: “Give me one small experiment to run for 2 weeks based on my growth area of X.” Put it on your calendar and review after two weeks.
